Hi,

i am planning to migrate to canada with my family,

i am currently residing in Dubai, working in a local bank for business banking

i need help in knowing the basic formalities involved for the migration process

if anybody on this forum would know any consultant, which has a proven track record and genuinely helps people to migrate.

please assist.

You don't need a consultant, they are a waste of time and money and energy.

Apply on uour own, your chances of getting in are the same :)

Check for minimum requirements in the link above.
All of the jobs are classified under the N.O.C codes. See under that.

You also required to qualify for the Educational requirements.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

You must qualify for a few of the other requirements also.
Please see if you can eliminate these from the list.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/inadmissibility/index.asp

Currently this is the only way most people can enter.

So, prepare yourself well and after you are ready for the ENTRY.do get back to us here.

You got to be ready for an interview too, to get in.

FH.

Apply to Canada , Australia & New Zealand ..and then forget about it :) ..whichever country you get first, go there. I think you just want to get out of Dubai, so doesn't matter which Western country you go to:)

Don't think too much about it..just fill the application properly and without any errors..and just keep on working in Dubai as a banker & saving your money.

Whatever will happen , will happen in the background..you have NO control over it..either you will get it or you won't. Some people come here within 6 months , some 5 years !!..others never as application gets rejected.

Canada accepts between 250,000 - 300,000 immigrants each year, that's roughly their quota..your application will be one of them .

People apply for immigration and then start dreaming about it, putting their lives on hold in their respective countries & start day dreaming. Don't do that ..its just an application, apply ..forget about it & carry on with your normal routine in your respective country..act as if you NEVER applied.

Don't tell anyone about your plans till the final visa lands in your hand..only then drop the bombshell..he he ;)

And, then thousands of your relatives will be like, "arey bataya hi nahin."

Happened to me. I am sure with others as well.

http://www.visionconsultancy.com/contact-us.html

We did our visa thro vision consultants. At that time they had advt huge discount $1000. Their charges at that time was $2500 less discount $1000. so we paid $1500. She send her office guy home 2-3 times to collect documents etc. Aftr the file was ready, we went to pay $1000 n sign papers. (2004). We got visa 2008 and aftr our passport was stamped, we Paid rest of the money.

I didn't know the procedure at the time nor did I know cd site. I think if we hv time in hand and can understand the site + capable of preparing file systematically then we must do it. Presentation and paperwork should be perfect. :)

I remember my gujju neighbour did apply befre us by themselves and their file was rejected and thy went to lawyers/court to fight their case n succeeded. It took thm 8-10 yrs frm dubai. he and my husband both were engg.:)
