Its really sad that people use this as a source of information and disappears. They should remember always that due to this KHAJANA of information only, we update ourselves and change our decisions. It becomes our direct responsibility to maintain and enhance great and legendary (spelling galat hai?) creations like this.

Hi, all,

This time-line ticker is a great idea. I came across a website name on this forum "yogi799.com" which shows processing timelines. But, I'd rather like to see something of the same sort (or better) on this site itself. I may not be posting regularly on this site but I do visit almost daily. The reason I am not able to post regularly is because I am still in India (twiddling my thumbs and waiting for my wait to end ), my file is still under process and haven't started to have any experiences that I could share. Maybe, after there is some movement in my application status, I will have more info to talk about. Looks like I have developed an emotional bonding with this site 'cos whenever I sit in front of my PC I log on to CD to check new posts. I sincerely hope that GG & BL are reading this post and utilise their combined knowledge on how to create a time-line ticker. Best of luck to them for this great site which I am sure is helping thousands of people on getting info on Canada.

GG, BL, I am sure once u churn and brainstorm the ANUBHAV idea the outcome will be something exceptional!

If I could suggest a sub-section, it should be on how best to use the waiting period in India or wherever one is, to enhance one's prospects in Canada.

A lot of input is available daily from various members regarding their difficulties, problems, challenges etc. and those of us who are in 'Q'( we mumbaikars are soooooo experienced with- AAPAN RAANGET AAHAAT, KRUPAYA PRATIKSHA KARA!! ) SHOULD make good use to see that we fortify ourselves and as far as possible not have to face the same problems when we land. Rest is in GOD's hands.

That is exactly the essence of this great forum!!.....in my post on Shrubbing i had mentioned that improving English & Communication skills is of paramount importance as it is the official language of Canada and we make ourselves prone to be devalued....however great our qualifications... only due to weak English language. Why not perfect it while waiting for the PR??? why not take up basic French in the waiting period?? Knowledge never gets wasted. Why should it be that as long as we get the required points it is O.K. ???

Likewise there are many such issues which can be enhanced thru the advice of those landed and experienced in Canada and then the waiting need not feel so cumbersome.
