I heard mixed reviews about that one too. Their Pakwaan-Dal is no where close to the one that Oh-Bombay has.

May be one of these days I'll make a trip myself to try out their food.

Where exactly is Maharaj located. Is that also a Sindhi place?

Sindhi looks too gimmicky :( .

Just keep good prices, good service, good quantity, good food , good hygiene and people will come :). Don't try to save a buck or so here and there by cutting corners, in the long run it's not worth it. You won't get repeat customer's and you will go bankrupt and under soon :(

Cut all the other BS and trying to be too smart with fancy names on the menu, funny quotes on the wall, some gimmicky decor :(. These days people don't really care or notice that stuff, including goras.

Keep things streamlined, instead of too many items. Focus on quality over quantity, don't try to do too much of everything :(

1. The Host - Right At Square One - City Centre Drive .

http://welcometohost.com/lunch-buffet/

But I believe they ONLY have LUNCH buffet, 7 days a week :), but NO Dinner buffet to the best of my knowledge . Very classy at the same time affordable Lunch buffet, decor and Ambiance.

2. Tandoori Flame - At Mavis & Britannia - 10 mins drive from Square One. Lunch and Dinner Buffet both available here 7 days a week :)

Huge selection, good service, good ambiance and good prices and selection. You can call it the Mandarin of Indian Buffet :)

Both places are frequented by Goras and Desis and also by office crowds in Sq. 1 and Heartland area

The owners have missed the point completely, not me :), when they notice that very soon they wiil be closing down for good, in this highly competitive market, if they just focus on gimmicks and not true value :(.

Just a matter of time, before this one closes down too, if they continue with this nonsense. That whole street food nonsense is not going to last long, once the novelty wears down :( and if proper service and food and value doesn't accompany it :(. Recession is in full swing, people are eating out less due to job losses etc, so its even more tough than before for restaurants to operate :(
