I would appreciate if people can recommend best auto insurance agents/companies.

Is it good idea to go via Agents. It is very difficult to call companies one by one and it takes lots of manual man hours to call each company and give them all the information and then get the quote.

Please recommend agents and also if you had good experience with insurance companies directly i would appreciate it.

Agents i would prefer as l haven't yet bought the car - so i want to be able to call agent and get the quote right away lets say if l am at store and l liked a car.

Again - any and all responses will be appreciated.

Car insurance quote is also based on the "Make , model and year of the car" . To save yourself time and hassle first either buy the car or decide what you want to buy .
There are not too many brokers who deal with new license holders . Your best bet may be TD or Meloche Mennox . Johnsons is cheap but they deal with experienced drivers with good track record . You may want to call and see if they can provide you insurance .
Kanetix.ca is a good place to start . It will compare the quotes from different companies and give you various options .
