I am a Foreign trade consultant based in New Delhi, India. I wish to setup same or similar business in Canada with the help of some professionals already based in Canada. It will be an extension of the buisness I am already doing in India.

I am looking for a simple and cost effective way to setup business in Canada. For example it may be cost effective to setup a new "propreitorship" or "corporation" in Canada with a "new name" which may become an "associate" or "marketing arrangement" with my Indian company. Or it may be possible to setup a subsidiary of the Indian company. If someone can advise me on this subject.

Another issue related to above matter is the "immigration status of my professional associates" in Canada. What are the regulations for the same. Do they have to be PR or Citizen of Canada ot can they be on "work permit" or other visas? Just for my knowledge & information?
