Hi Everyone,
I am planning to take up a postgraduate diploma course in one of the community colleges, in a Business Development/Sales module. I've completed my engineering in ECE from India but was never really into that field and I ended up working as Business Development executive in Startups here. I plan to take up a Diploma and then work for about 3 years and then go for an MBA from a reputed university, I am just worried about the job prospects after the course and if they are recognized by legitimate companies. Any advice on the same would be very helpful
Thank You
When you apply for and study for ONE Year (A Diploma) in a Recognized Community College, you will end up with ONE Year work permit and will be sent back HOME after you finish your first year of work.
So, plan well before you jump into any One year course and regret about it later. There are a few Co-Op programs that will provide a stipend/pay while you study and also get to obtain a degree and/or a Diploma too. But you are locked in for a few good years, Four to be minimum, and please see if it suits your line of work/study and also available here in Canada.
