You won't lose your Canadian rights.

As far as medical rights are concerned depending on the province they have different stay rules.

But you need not tell them of your absence and they won't know. CBSA doesn't inform OHIP or other provincial medical guys about your absence.

For OHIP in ON following are the conditions

I would suggest against declaring wrong information to OHIP. When you go for OHIP card renewal, they can ask for your Canadian passport and that would have Indian entry and exit stamps.

They don't do any such thing. You get a renewal notice in your post every 5 yrs about 60 days before expiry.

You go to any Service Canada outlet. There is a huge lineup as the same place gives DL, vehicle registration and lot of of other gov services.

You take your photo, show the renewal notice and 1 photo ID and 1 proof of address and you are done. They ( clerks ) neither have the time or the authority to ask you for entry - exit stamps and stuff like that.

After 3 weeks you get the new OHIP in mail. Now you don't have to worry for another 5 yrs.

Question of wrong or right information doesn't arise. Nowhere in the renewal notice this information is asked for.

So why go out of the way and give unnecessary info that's not asked for in the first place. Its not like the info has been asked and you are lying about it.

Don't volunteer useless info and get yourself in trouble just for the sake of it.

Whenever you renew your OHIP, you sign the renewal form where you declare that you will be present in Ontario for 153 days during any 12-month period. Also you declare that you understand that "it is an offence to knowingly provide false information in, or in relation to this application." Then how question of wrongful declaration does not arise.
