hi,
we are landing in Toronto on 5th September 2017. we are two couple, no kids, 3 dentists 1 HR consultant.
we want fully furnished basement, apartments, shared rooms or anything which can accommodate us and cheapest. we don't want to go for lease agreement. please suggest accommodation in following cities if known to you.
please suggest which cities are best in terms of cheaper rents and better transit to Toronto downtown. i have few cities in mind. please advise if they are good or suggest if others are better too. they are
hamilton
markham
brampton
kirtchener
windsor
oshawa
mississauga
Destination to go to and a dollar value for rent will go a long way in finding a suitable place *FOR the Four of you.
Here is a map of down town TORONTO,
http://www.cambridgesuitestoronto.com/En/Locations-Directions#gref
http://www.gosur.com/map/canada_ontario_mississauga/?satellite=1&gclid=CN7Qg8bojtUCFUW2wAod-PMPHg
All the locations about which you want to know are all located in ONTARIO. So, punch in the location followed by a coma and ONT and hit enter. It will take you to the location that you want to go to.
Hamilton, Markham, Brampton and Mississauga are about an HOUR away from Down Town Toronto. (Which is the UNION STATION.)
It is Kitchener, and Oshawa that is two hours away.
And WINDSOR is about 4 Hours away and it is closer to Detroit in Michigan.
If your commute is daily and you want it to be short and economical, easy on the wallet, that is, then find a place (choose a place) close enough to the destination.
A FURNISHED place, even if it is a Basement or High Rise, will currently will cost you anywhere from 1,600 to 2,000 dollars per month and being new to the country with NO REFERENCES, will be difficult to find one to rent. The owners will surely provide you with a FRIDGE and a STOVE for sure. Other items that might come with it will be 'What ever that is left behind', items.
You will have to supplement it to your choice. At the same time, I want to mention that there are places available for rent that is fully furnished for $3,000/m.
Now you have to decide and come up with a figure for the Furnished Accommodation that is within your budget. Post it under this and also provide us with your destination where your commute is, to enable us to give you a choice of locations. Do, remember that 99% of the places will all be taken by the end of August and there will be, might be, just a few pickings, if you are lucky. The reason being, there are people who will be here with their kids looking for the same way ahead of you by a month, as all of the SCHOOLS start on the 5th of September, the first Tuesday after the Labour day.
You still have SIX weeks to plan and find a place. Are you all here as PR in Canada or here for your studies?. If so, consult them or ask for suggestions.
Good Luck.
FH.

You will have to select a few and visit them and also call the owners and get additional details from them. Do your own due diligence before you rent. Also find out if they will hold it till the 1st of September 2017.

Currently I see a few good ones. There is one that I fell in love with in my own posting to you here. But they get taken very fast. A few of them are tad expensive. But they provide or throw in for you all kind of services at no cost to you. These are bonuses. You will also come across a few good ones when you do yor own search from that end. fh.
