Dear All,

I had applied to Canada but due to misrepresentation of data(Consultant advised to). I had an interview at AbuDhabi. The interview was really bad and told him that the data is incorrect. I then got a email saying that I confessed about the misrepresentation of data and that I was banned from entering Canada for 5 years.

My daughter has joined U of Toronto last year. My ban lasts the same year as my daughter gets graduated. My query is that, Will I be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony of my daughter ? Can I ever apply to Canada after the ban (Will turn 50 by then).
Can I join my daughter on parents visa/immigration ?

Request you to kindly advise

Thanks & Regards
Ajay

Yes she can sponsor you later on when she becomes a Canadian PR or Citizen and has a good income. I guess she is just on a student visa right now, right ?

The graduation ceremony is a Joke. You are not missing much. I have been to a few university graduation ceremonies in Canada, the students throw a couple of hats in the air and some stupid Principal gives a speech or something. That's pretty much it.

Most of them are in heavy student debt upon graduation and struggle to get good jobs. Especially the immigrant students, the Chinese & Indian students. Most international students go back to their home country or US or do minimum wage jobs in Canada. Thank you very much.

I bet your daughter is paying 3 times the fees of the local students as an international student. This is a very nice scam by Canadian universities to loot international students.

They banned you. But they will never ban your daughter as they are getting lot of fees from her

:cry:

Ajay you would be eligible whether 50 or even 70; do not worry.
And yes throwing of hats happens and good speeches et all; is a pleasure to watch, especially if your daughter is graduating and part of that ceremony! ( Principal generally is a well educated, learned man )

How to proceed when you want to obtain an e-visa for entry for your Daughter`s Graduation Ceremony.

If you are sending in the form for information only

See the section Coming to, or Remaining in Canada Without Approval of Rehabilitation.

Do not send a processing fee. An officer will review the form and advise how you should proceed.
Submitting your application
Where do I apply?

In Canada: Mail your application to the Canada Immigration Centre responsible for your area. Addresses are available online.

Outside Canada: If you are applying for criminal rehabilitation along with your temporary resident (visitor visa, study permit or work permit) application, you can submit everything together and apply at the nearest Visa Application Center.

If you are submitting a separate application for criminal rehabilitation you must complete the application and submit it directly to the visa office responsible for your region by mail or courier only.
What happens next?

Upon receipt of your application an officer will review it and any supporting documents. If you are eligible to apply, the officer will make a positive or negative recommendation and forward the application to the authority who can approve or refuse applications for rehabilitation. For less serious offences, the authority is usually the manager of the local office. For more serious offences, the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship will make the decision.

The following are some of the factors that will be taken into consideration when your application is reviewed:

the number of offences and the circumstances and seriousness of each offence;
your behaviour since committing the offence(s);
your explanation of the offences and why you are not likely to re-offend;
any support you receive from your community;
why you think you are rehabilitated and
your present circumstances.

Note: The authority who approves or refuses applications for rehabilitation does not have to follow the recommendation made by the immigration officer.

Applications for rehabilitation can take over a year to process. You will be advised in writing of the decision made on your application.

Receiving approval to overcome a criminal inadmissibility is only one part of determining whether or not you can enter or remain in Canada. Once you have been approved for rehabilitation, you will need to meet the requirements for applicants seeking entry as a temporary resident or permanent resident. For more information if you are outside of Canada, contact a Canadian visa office, or, if you are in Canada, consult the Help Centre.
What you can do to help processing

There are certain things you can do to help make sure your application is processed as fast as possible:

make sure you send all documents and information we have asked for with your application
tell us if your contact information changes, including:
mailing address
telephone numbers
facsimile number (fax)
e-mail address

Things that delay processing

The following may delay processing:

missing signature on application forms
unclear photocopies of documents
documents not sent with a certified English or French translation
verification of your information and documents
a medical condition that may need more tests or consultations
a criminal or security problem
consultation is needed with other offices in Canada and abroad

FH.
THE OFFICER WHO PROVIDES YOU WITH AN ENTRY FOR YOUR VISIT, EITHER FOR A HOLIDAY ANYTIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE OR FOR YOUR DAUGHTER`S GRADUATION IS
entirely different individual and he has NO connection NONE WHAT SO EVER with your old files and normally does not refuse you an entry into Canada to visit your Daughter who is studying here nor for her graduation ceremony when ever it happens. You please read through the materials provided and also can research the same yourself and prepare yourself with all of the backing materials for entry as a Visitor. It may be irksome but is well worth it. More on it if you need any assistance. Please do this ahead of your departure.

It is a great day in your Daughter`s life and career and do drop down and cheer her. I will support you filing an application any day and will even back you up if needed.

Hope this will provide you with a little relief and some cheer. Good Luck.

FH.

The Principal is generally a racist white moron, who needs international students from China & India to keep his scam going so that he gets his fat salary.

The international students who pay 3-4 times the tuition fees of local white people are a pure cash cow for these Canadian universities & colleges.

Racism & discrimination is rampant on the Campus, both from your fellow white students and the uneducated & not learned professors & principals.

In Australia they physically attack brownies & chinks on the campus, in Canada they verbally & racially abuse the same students in classes & campus.

et al ..not et all..LMAO..I bet you went to a Canadian university. Ask for a refund..LOLZ.

So won't be able to contribute to this forum or visit this forum for a while.

Ciao or Au Revoir ( as the French Canadians would say )
