|Keep on trucking.
If you are filing ELECTRONICALLY..: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/ei/ei-internet-reporting.html
If you get the next set of cards, please fill them out and send them back. When they stop coming, you don't have to fill them or return them back anymore.
They decide if your wages for the period are 90% or less for that period. If they are less, then, they will send you a cheque.
They don't cheat you.
For most people, the basic rate for calculating EI benefits is 55% of your average insurable weekly earnings, up to a maximum amount. As of January 1, 2018, the maximum yearly insurable earnings amount is $51,700. This means that you can receive a maximum amount of $547 per week.Dec 3, 2017

I tried to check on service canada website but unbale to find clear answer.
I was on EI for few months & got new job & started working from October -16th this month.
-Last EI report i filled for 2 weeks on October 19th(2 weeks period of octover 7th-oct-19)
- since I started working from October 16th so i will get SALARY from my employer on October -31st
- next E.I Report due on November 02 --for period of (october 22 till Nov-2)
my confusion is that I'm not sure if i need to file next report or not --although i started working from October 16th--but i will get payment $$ from employer only on end of the month(October-31st)
what are the E.I Rules ?
any accurate advice will be greatly appreciated
