Hi there,
I am looking for a female roommate for boarding for around 7-10 days. My parents need to go to India for an emergency, so we need someone who can ideally stay with me for those days. We have a dog and he needs to be looked after almost 24/7. I am currently working as well so it is difficult for me to watch after the dog during the day time.
Ideally looking for someone who can stay in the house the entire time while I am at work. You are free to go and come AFTER I come back from work, but during the day you MUST be willing to stay with him all the time. MUST BE COMFORTABLE with and have great affection for dogs in general. Boarding is absolutely free...groceries will be taken care of as well. We will also pay you well for the time period that you are taking care of the dog and stay.
Any questions and inquiries are welcome. Thank you!!
Hi there MEHAK0905,
It will help a lot for those who are free to take the offer that you are presenting, if you can give the name of the town you live in and possibly a Parish, or the Sub division also, for anyone to join you and help you with the task of looking after the pet, your dog.
It will also help if you would tell what type and the breed and how old the dog is too. also mention if it needs to be taken for a walk, or just walk him in the yard.
If the idea of the person staying there with you during the nights is to provide you with company, then please mention it is appreciated if she will stay the nights over as a companion. Otherwise, the care taker can leave after your arrival.
There is a Weekend intervenes during the 10 days, if there are two weekends, then you can also state that it is appreciated that the care taker stays there with you during the TWO weekends and will be paid for those days too. The main reason is, there is a march break and some deserving student might agree to this if it falls during those days. It is pretty near over now in a few areas.
This is to help you with obtaining a caretaker and hope you take it in the right spirit.
Good Luck.
FH.
-----------------------------------
It could also be..:
Walking dogs for up to 15-90 minutes (usually 15-30)
Cleaning up after pets (dogs, cats’ litter pans, birds, etc.)
Playing with pets
Administering medications (pills, shots (training provided, if needed), etc.)
Feeding
Other duties as assigned/required by client.
You would also be expected to be able to do the following “non-pet” related items:
Collect mail
Alternate lights
Water plants/flowers
Arm/Disarm home security systems
Must have good working knowledge of Pet Sitting Web-Based Software to look up appointments, clients information, pet care needs, etc.
