I am surprised to see nobody has posted anything for this picnic yet!

We were about 20 families there. It was great fun to see CanadianDesis not discussing jobs and settlement and other boring stuff, but enjoying the picnic to its limit.

The food was excellent. As it was mixed up, I can't say whoes was the best one, but thanks everybody for the contribution.

The kids were enthusiastic and asking every moment what is our next game, as soon as one game is over. The competition of number skipping game and writing maximum from a group were tough and there were some tough competitors! But the aiming of the kids was not good - it took very long for them to aim!

There were numbers of gifts distributed - thanks to Pramod Chopra and Biomed for arranging those.

Our "farthest participant" award goes to PriRup for coming from Guelph!!

Our "first to reach park" award goes to reachcash

Our "last to reach park" award goes to Vyomesh Pandya!

Our "just landed" award goes to rahulvan!

I am working on photoes and will be posting soon.

It was an excellent event-worth the drive. Thanks Garvo ji and all other members for making us feel at home, this was my first meeting with all of you and i must say a big thank you to all the members for being so friendly and nice. We should organize more events and we are looking forward to participate eagerly in the future.

There were 2 more awards for guessing correct number of candies in a jar. We had 54 candies in a jar and the nearest guess from CDs was 53 and 55… we had fun … lots of fun.

Thanks and regards.

Hi All,

It was really my pleasure reaching the PICNIC spot first. Initially I was wondering if it was 17th July or what ? I also was wodering if I was at the correct spot, but eventually after checking all three areas og Bluffer's Park, I did come back to the first area and found others as well. It was my first personal interaction with fellow members and I am glad, I was there. Looking forward to keep in touch with all of you for many years to come.

Thanks for the award !!

Enjoy !!

Looks like you guys had lot of fun.
I would make it a point to attend the next one.
Let us make the event a mini carnival with more participation.
