Hi kesar
I didnt get your point. What I can feel that if you have the cash and are bringing it along with you, you dont need a proof of the cash, as it is a proof of itself. I carried 12000 CDN cash with me, which they checked at the airport, and let me thru easily.
You have to be responsible yourself though, of such a big amount of cash in hand while travelling.

not to be a sour grape about this, but having settlement funds is one of the conditions of being granted immigrant status... if you are unable to satisfy the immigration officer (if s/he asks for such proof) that you have the requisite settlement funds then you will be denied landing... be careful about this... the officer is is well within his/her authority to tell you to go back and sell your business first and then come to land...
from the operations memorandum..
"Confirm that the applicant, especially if in the independent category, has sufficient financial resources to support themselves and those dependant on them for care and support without the need for Adjustment Assistance Program (AAP), provincial social assistance benefits and that they do not come within the meaning of section A39. Persons who have been sponsored or persons who have been issued visas as government assisted refugees can generally be accepted as having adequate settlement arrangements that would not place them within the meaning of section A39. Every principal applicant should have in hand, $10,000 Canadian dollars plus $2000 for each dependant. This includes cash, money orders and travellers cheques."

Hi kesar,
First of all it does'nt matter whether you get cash/draft/travellers checks. All of them can be termed a settlement funds Only make sure you get the required amount. Check this link to find the exact funds required for you http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/qual-4.html
However i would suggest you take 30% cash & rest in dd or checks so you dont have to worry about walking with one hand holding your pocket/purse or your travelling bag. Just take enough cash to give u some liquidity for the first innitial weeks.
ciao. hope it helps
erebello.
