Any idea what is the customs limit on the value of goods when travelling to India .

We have 2 laptops and 1 camcorder . Would we have any problem .Both laptops are in use now and also the camcorder is in "used' condition and not new. Any ideas ? . Landing at Delhi airport , how is the customs there ?

Recently my wife went to India and she was carrying a camcorder and a digital camera. Since they were personal items and not for sale, they just asked few questions like are you going to take them back with you etc.

Than they just let her go. I also heard from people that in some cases they do put a note on the passport for this. But now a days as almost all travellers have cameras and camcorders they are not doing anything with it.

In case of laptop, yet they will enter it in the passport.
