My mother will be going back to India between October 10th and 20th. Shall appreciate if some one going to Mumbai during this period can help as she is worried of changing flight at transit poist due to language problem. (She speaks telugu and can speak broken english and hindi).

It seems that most times you could be lucky to know someone who is travelling on the same flight.

There are a few other things that can be attempted.

1) Arrive early at airport checkin and look for folks from your city, they are usually helpful to seniors.

2) The one that definetly works is book a wheel chair and though not necessarily that the parents need a wheel chair but this is a privilege which is available free of charge from the airline company and this ensures that they take care of you during all the transfers and while boarding and leaving the flights. And you can be sure of there safety.
