I have stayed 1095 days in a 5 years period (not in 4 years period whis is the requirement to apply for the citizenship) .The remaining period I was in India , now as I have completed 1095 days of stay out of 5 years is there anyway that I could apply for citizenship showing the proof of the unavoidable circumstances due to which I was tied up in India?
Thank you for any information you provide.
Nope
Not in my knowledge . You may have to wait for another Year before you can apply

You have to live 1095 days in the preceding 4 years to apply for citizenship .

the requirement is 1095 days out of immideately preceeding 1461 days...
as Smiley says, you may have to wait for a year, but you could apply and take a chance... since you dont satisfy the requirement, your file will land up infront of a judge... if judge decides that you have met the requirement, then you can get it... otherwise, you will lose your money... but since you have to wait anyway, take a chance and send it off... you never know, you could just be lucky... its all up to the judge...
you need to have 3 out of 5 to keep up your PR card but 1095 out of 4 yrs to apply for citizenship. as far as i know
