I am planning to go to Ottawa for H1-B stamping. I am a landed immigrant (3 months) and I am currently not employed. What kind of documents do I need to carry?(regarding my present any past employment). Would like to know what i need to fill in Present employer column (20) of D-156?

I am new to this place and any information regarding the cheapest mode of travel to Ottawa, and also some information regarding the accommodation in Ottawa (just for a night stay) would be really helpful.

Got my wifes H1 from ottawa ,No problems whatsoever, Go on grey hound base thae last one be in ottawa in the morning go for interview ,they will keep your passport go out see Ottawa come back in the afternoon take grey hound back u will be in toronto same night.
