Just a question:

Until now it was mostly Niagara Falls etc in "Picture of the day" on the front page. Good pictures inded and qualified to be addressed as such too.
What is this pic on the front page today??Who is in it and what is happening?? Looks like some New Year stuff? Kya hai bhai?
And what is in there that makes it "Picture of the day"??

Arrey kam se kam koi bataye to sahee ki picture mein ho kya raha hai?? Dekh ke to lagtaa hai koi hath jode ker prarthana kar raha hai, ya shayad maafi maang rahaa hai, aur doosre bhai saheb ashirwaad bhee de rahe hein. But while the "bhakt" appears to have some sort of a "drama dress" the "prabhu" is in kurta-pyjama!! And itna lambaa wire with the mic!!

Apna dialogue khatam hone ke baad will "prabhu" take the mic to the "bhakt" and point it into his face for the "bhakt" to say his part??

Just imagine, "prabhu" and "bhakt" talking to each other using the same mic, like they do in the news!!

( I just snorted coffee on my screen!! )

I have taken a lot of pictures of parks and stuff around my home.

All I need to do is to scan it.

Fun apart, this is beta version of "picture of the day" and I put some pictures for testing only. Most of them are shot by my camera and you will soon see some desis in the pictures.

I will provide a link to submit a picture to be included in this by users.

I am not sure how we can do voting. For that there are some ready scripts available, I have to see how such script can merge with our code. If it is too much work, we will just have a link to upload a picture, and once it is approved, it can be displayed.

I am not sure what theme is good for this:

1. Current Pictures - suitable for ocasions, weather etc.
2. Canadian Monuments, places etc.
3. CanadianDesi meeting pictures
4. Nature
5. ...

or it can be a combination.

BTW, picture today is of Halloween, you can easily guess that one!
