Here is my timeline of my citizenship process!!!

We received your application for grant of Canadian citizenship (adult) on March 30, 2004.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application, and a study book called A Look at Canada on March 30, 2004.

We started processing your application on June 08, 2004.


Your file was transferred on November 18, 2004 to the Woodbridge office for the citizenship testing and taking of the citizenship oath. The Woodbridge office will contact you to write the Citizenship test.


Got letter on 3rd Dec that my citizenship test is on 17th december.

Got letter on Feb 2nd that my oath is on feb 16th.

I did my oath on feb 16th and applied for Canadian passport and got it today.

I'm a Canadian citizen.

I have also applied for Cdn citizenship in Aug. 2004 from Brampton, On.
I recd. an acknowledgement in Nov end. but nothing so far regarding test date. I would like you all to share your timeline and status with me.

I too applied in august 2004, got ack. in september and test in may 2005.

I applied at the same time as you did. I have not got the test date yet. When did you start seeing your status online? And when did CIC transfer your file to your local office? Mine was transferred on May 3.
