Suggestions for Student Visa

Hi all,

I am looking for some suggestions from you all.
My husband and myself have applied for immigration for canada.(recd the file no. in Sept 2004) However now I plan to study in Canada. I have done my Masters in Personnel Mgmt and have plans to do further studies in Management. I have few queries regarding this:
1. Would it be advisable to apply now for student visa when our papers for immigration are in process? would this affect my immigration case.
2. Since my husband would be applying as dependent, what are the chances of him getting the visa.

One thing you should keep in mind is that it will cost you a lot more to study in Canada if you are not an immigrant.
According to my knowledge, your student visa application should not be affected by your immigration application.
Anyone has a different view here?
