which travel websites do desi's use for cheap tickets to the united states! or do u get a better deal with a travel agent?

What kind of travel - flights? hotels? rental cars?
The Canadian "discount" airlines like West Jet and Jets Go have good deals going on usually - a lot cheaper than Air Canada.

Depending on where you live in Canada, it might be possible to drive to a nearby US city (like from Toronto to Buffalo) and take flights from there (for instance if you are going out west, the deals might be better from there - just depends on the time of the year and what deals the airlines are running at that time).
