In a casual browse through the threads i found in one of them people had an altercation over which syllabus was better . Strangely i found some people argue wierdly that ICSE or ISC was being dumped and CBSE is better .
Well, here i should say not \" Ants in my pants \" but bigger intimidating species like \"tarantulas in my pants \" . I throw it open to all the people who feel ICSE is inferior to CBSE and to the person who wrote ICSE has lot of schools in india compared to CBSE .

1) ICSE is the only course where people give exams for 100 marks each in Biology , Chemistry and Physics ( CBSE is a combined science exam for 100 marks ) in mid school .

2) ICSE 's english is way beyond any board not just in India but in Asia . Evidence, their unique set of English Language paper and English literature paper together during the process of schooling ( mind you they write and learn Shakespearen times works ). Not some stories written by authors whose first language is not english ( i hope i need not mention which board uses those books ). CBSE again holds a common paper for 100 marks and people score 90's ( tell you what , take ICSE english to know what it is to score a 90 ) .

3) ICSE is taught in very few ( but prestigious ) schools in india , unlike what a fellow CD wrote in a thread . Evidence , LA MARTINIER a very unique set of 3 schools in the world , France , Lucknow and Calcutta , set up during the historic times went for ICSE in a choice when they started in India . So is the case with DPS and other prestigious boarding schools in India ( Ooty , Bangalore) .

4) Finally to the point , someone said ICSE is around in every school under the sun , give me a break , Kedriya Vidyala ( KV ) a big network adopts CBSE and they are not only found in places which cannot be spot on indan maps ( Assam interiors ) but also in Lakshwadeep islands . This should answer it .

5) For the knock out point of em all , one syllabus that can and will knock the socks outta Canadian Universities representatives in India and make them say \" U r In , no need for TOEFL \" is ICSE . Check with Universities that goto India and their list of schools .

Well , my intention of starting this post is not to prove or start a fight . But couldnt accept some threads where people wrote ICSE is being dumped and getting a 90 of ICSE is equivalent to a 85% in CBSE , i wish i could use \" Kiss My Blooming A**\" but my schooling stops me . Do i need to say which syllabus i came from .
