Oh please Mr.DiogenestheCynic don't get so worked up about some article which somebody has posted (quoting somebody else) just for the reading pleasure of CDs. I agree with Azazf that just by quoting somebody u don't necessarily agree with his ideas. U r just quoting it for others to read. U can take what u like and leave the rest and carry on.

Thank u guys and let's move on.....

You quote as article because either you find it interesting or like it, call it what you will, which in other words mean you agree with its contents or else, you want to create a debate.

If you think there can be other reasons that do not fall in one of these 2 classes, please enlighten yours truly.

If you could have successfully have applied this counsel to yourself, you wouldn't have posted this message, would you? :D

No it does not........thats just your interpretation. Going by what you are assuming yet again......you are agreeing to the theory of the spaghetti monsters.. dio a firm believer in spaghetti monsters :D

And your comment

Seems there are very few desis with a "real" sense of "canadian" humour

Now I understand why you felt itchy when I was calling you a Dude....
Besides these are stories i would love to tell my five and three year olds
Why do you sound to me as FOP or trying to imitate canadians.....
IF nothin till now has worked you up this will

I was doing some digging and read some of your earlier posts........you think of yourself as an atheist in the true sense then why the hell do you care to comment on religion. My other observation is you tend to be hypocritical which makes it difficult to argue.

And once more not everything posted on this forum is for debate or is something the poster is agreeing too. Was posted for the heck of it or for informative purpose.

What was your reason to have posted the article if you did not find it interesting and did not concur with it?

And if you did not agree with it, why did you respond to my comments and argue in favour of the points mentioned ?

Why did you take the trouble of googling and posting spurious links to justify your arguments?

Why did you continue the debate instead of either agreeing to my comments or just walking away?

Any answers?

Do you need help in getting your head out of your sorry ass!

FYI, I have quoted an open letter written to the Kansas school board that is intended to get some sense into the heads of the policy makers of that school.

I completely agree with the motive, the method and the purpose the writer is attempting to achieve.

Neither the writer nor anyone else actually believes in the FSM or anything remotely similar.

The theory has been concoted in a humourous way to laugh and just to make the dumbasses in KSB realize that teaching the theory of ID in a science class, is just as stupid as teaching the theory of ID by the FSM.

Man, I can't believe I am having to tell you this!

Enjoying the western sense of humour, which is indeed different from desi humour, is not the same as aping juvenile slang Canadian language!

You give amazing examples of your immaturity and how stupid someone can be!

Do indeed go ahead and tell this "story" to your 5 and 3 year olds. However, for the rest of the grown up world, it is a jibe at the idiots managing the Kansas School Board and nothing more.

By what logic do you sermonize that atheists are prohibited from criticizing the teaching of religion?
On the contrary, for an atheist the very concept of religion and God is invalid. Although a typical atheist has no beef with religion per se, but witnessing religion being taught in a science class is simplyt exasperating.

Oh yeah? And my observation is that you behave like a jerk which makes it difficult to argue.

Does that make you one?

Neither did I say that everything is for a debate.

You posted an article.

I found some of the points valid and some outright irresponsible and moronic.

Valid criticism of my country is acceptable to me, but jotting up irrelavent and off the mark issues only to reach a determined total, and to think it makes someone look wise and smart is being a jackass.

If you thought my response was unnecessary, then instead of fuming and frothing, a more appropriate rejoinder would be to either ignore me, or redirect me to the author of the article.

If you did not want a debate, you should not have joined in! It takes two to tango. ‘mkay?
