Nupur,
Congratulations for having a nice Saheli
You have to take an extra care during these winter months - especially while staying in the basement. Make sure Saheli gets some fresh-air.

Hi TK,
Yes, that's the case. I was on Epidural and now I have such a severe headache that I cant even lift my head. I think I will have to go back to the hospital to get the opinion of the doctor who did the Epidural.
It was in Brampton Memorial Hospital.
Thanks
Nup

Congratulations on the birth of a Baby girl.
We wish you all the very best.
An off topic Question :
Were you on epidural during birth and did they give you more pain killers after delivery. Why i am asking is that , the same thing happened with my wife and due to the pain killer in the blood/breast milk , the child rejected feeding on breast milk. Even though we had written that Breast feeding is the most important to us, none of the post delivery nurses seemed to even care. They forced my wife to formula feed and there was no lactation consultant to help (since it was night time and anyway the lactation consultant can be met only with prior appointment). After that , the baby formula feeds only.
This could be another bungled up medical care in Canada.
Anyways, i need your views on this.
TK
Congrats on the birth of your baby girl!
Out of curiosity, whatever happened to your landlord situation? I understand you're busy right now, but post an update when/if you can. And like someone else suggested, see if you can move out of the basement (if that is a possibility). It'll be much better for the baby.
Hope everything works out!

yeah, we thought it is wise to stay put and have the baby, and then move out. The landlord was kind of applying pressure to increase the rent, and was waiting for the right moment to strike at us (in which she succeeded very well !!! desi mentality...................i suppose ). We increased the rent, because that was the only way out at that time.

HI
Congratulations on addition of a new family member . My wife had similar problems and in hospital she was taught different techniques which helped her out . May be you get in touch with the same hospital for classes on breast feeding .
