i went to the court for postponing my date of trial. The lady over ther said to me that anyone she cannot issue me another notice for trial it can be done on that day only (trial date) anyone from my side like my family member or friend can go to court on my behalf and ask for another date. I dont know weather she gave me true advice.
I tried calling the number given on the back side of my ticket/notice of trial but it goes to the automated computer system and it doen't have any option of changing the trial date. Any suggestions from fellow desis much appreciated.

Yes Some one went on my behalf as I was not feeling well on that day. If you are present in court they will proceed further on that case and would not postpone it.

My wife went to court on my behalf. They postponed the date to November 8th 2006.
