Hi all,
I gave my test on 10th Nov and it went off ok. Hardly 10 minutes for the interview with the citizenship officer.
Routine questions about occupation, family etc. One thing is that the officer went through the pages of the passport very carefully and validated corresponding dates on my citizenship application.
Then I was told that if I pass the test, it should take around 2-3 months to receive a notification for oath ceremony.
Thanks,
VD
Hi,
Anyone on CD forum who wrote their test in Nov '09 or thereafter (in Vancouver), and have received a notification for the oath ceremony?
Thanks,
VD

After the test You have to meet the Citizenship officer . He/She Goes through your file and verify it is in order.
They will verify your Passport ,Driver license and ask few questions regarding your absence.
Then they will issue a circular stating when you can expect your oath ( which may be 3 months from Test)

Hi All,
I took my oath of Canadian citizenship yesterday 08 March 2010. So totally it took me 15 months to get my citizenship from the time of application.
Thanks,
VD
Delay may be due to winter Olympics
