I wasn't joking. We know a lady whose Indian passport had expired and had to go to India urgently. And that was the christmas weekend last year when the high commission was closed for holidays. Somehow old timers pulled it off and got her the requried papers to fly. In her case, she had to come back to Canada to wrap up things. She is a PR.
