Also remember that there is a long waiting period. When i approached them in May 2002, they said that the next intake was Sept. 2002 and though i did register by paying some fees, I really nearly lost all my savings and my first priority was to pay my bill and put food on the table and so did not take it. So it is not like decide today and start tomorrow kind of program.
Every one was praising the program and it is actually one of the best in the GTA if you could join and complete it.
Contrary to what Chandresh said, the program lands you in very decent jobs and in good companies. (I know of an Architect who did Oracle from Humber and through this program was placed in a top notch company. He quit after a month since he was not up to the standard of the company).
The main crooks are Skills for change and COSTI, who do nothing much and place you in 3 rd. grade companies as a volunteer.
Career bridge is supposed to be good , if you can find a place in it. It gives you a govt. funded paying job.
This is just from my limited knowledge.
Please do your own due deligence before following any of my posts.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
In Mississauga there is not that much waiting period. One has to follow them up to get admission early. Many students got job many not. Here how co-op works:
- As said in earlier posts they teach you about resume, interview, job searching etc.
- You have to search company of your interest and your teacher at co-op will follow up with the company for your volunteer placement.
For job not sure but you will be surly placed for volunteer work.
All the best

If you have time and money the most important resource then attend some short term (8 months) program from community college. At least you get employment (paid job). However, it is individual choice; to aim for sky or settle for bread and butter.
