UPDATE NO:5 & My Final post in CD:
Received our OCI today. The whole process took 1 month and 3 days. It is a small booklet with a sticker.
Had a wonderful time on this great website. The whole time from landing to OCI has taken 3years 10months and 6 days.
Wishing all of you a great time in Canada and wish you all your dreams will come true.
The last 3 years were a struggle for me personally in Canada, but all the struggle and hard feelings disappeared once I got my Citizenship. The best thing Canada can offer is a Passport and what a difference it makes in the US border or even in any international POE in the Western Hemisphere.
I would keep base in Canada for the major healthcare consideration during later part of my life and hopefully get to enjoy a little of its pension if it exists in the next 25 years.
God Bless !.
Live and Let Live !.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
Congratulation Shankaracharya for receiving your OCI, and Canadian passport after 3 years 10 months and 6 days. approximately 1404 days. The pre landing takes anywhere between 3 to 4 years to receive the landing paper and immigrant visa on passport.
After landing to receive PR card it takes 30 to 45 days
OHIP card 90 to 120 days
Drivers license 3 to six months in some cases 1 year.It is very costly
Two receive citizenship it takes 4 to 10 months
Two receive OCI 30 TO 45 days
By and large if you leave your country to gain citizenship in other country, it will easily take your lifetime any where between 6 to 10 years. Is it worth? one has to really think about.
It is the case for the US Citizenship also.First they will land with H1B with three years visa and it may be easily renewed two times, atleast 9 years to receive a Green Card (It is not attractive and it is not in green color, Canada PR card looks appealing and one can get it in 3 to 4 years after landing).
