Your devices must be set on different 'Channels'

You're right. Having the devices on different channels will avoid any interference issues. I have routers, cordless phones all running off of 2.4Ghz and have no issues whatsoever.

Check out multi-phone packs at Costco. They carry several brands..Uniden, Panasonic, Sanyo & Motorola starting from $129.99. They vary from 2-4 sets and require only one main telephone jack for all the phones. Some have inbuilt digital answering machines as well...though I recommend voicemail from your own service provider. I have bought several of these for own use and as gifts. I am using Uniden with 4 handsets and it is great...can be used as intercom, baby-monitor etc. I have been using one for 3 years and haven't had to change its batteries.
