Intel to slash headcount in India
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/1635912.cms
What to say. So far, folks back home were just enjoying (or what ever you call) one side of the American life through McDonalds, Pizzas, parties and etc.., now comes the bonanza ie., the bitter side of the American life through lay offs n pink slips which is not very common in the society esp.., in IT.
Unless the headcount is compromised, the investor is not going to be happy and keep shedding your stock or at least this is the kind of picture the media and financial frontiers have imposed on the investors. So this has become an inevitable part of corporate life.
I wouldn't complain (from neutral perspective).
