Who should be blamed the most for India's disastrous showing at the World Cup ?
Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, M S Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly, Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh and coach Greg Chappell were singled out by cricket fans in TV polls.
But angry they may rightly have been, India's cricket fans did not lose their sense of humour. Fans exchanged jokes through SMS messages.
What was the most inexplicable defeat for India in the tournament? The loss to Bangladesh.
Therefore, who is to be blamed for India's defeat at the hands of its eastern neighbour ?
Indira Gandhi.
How come?
Because she created Bangladesh!

A Delhi eveninger carried an interview with Yuvraj Singh on Saturday under the headline: 'My job is that of a finisher'.
This prompted derisive comments from frustrated fans.
\"He has indeed finished the team\", remarked a fan who pointed to the left-handed batsman's terrible run out in the match against Sri Lanka.

Dhoni scores a 100, you get a free haircut

RANCHI: A Jharkhand beauty parlour has offered incentives to clients based on the number of runs made by wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni at the World Cup.
Kaya, a beauty parlour in the Hariom Tower, first snipped a bit of spotlight for itself when Dhoni, who hails from Ranchi, had a haircut here last year.
\"I am a great fan of Dhoni. I have offered incentives to my clients depending on the runs made by Dhoni. If he scores one run, the fans will get one percent rebate in haircut, shaving, dye, facial and other services,\" said Vijay Modi, the owner of the saloon.
He said: \"If Dhoni scores 50 runs, then the clients will get a 50 percent rebate. And if he scores a century, the first five clients coming in can avail of free services and gifts.\"
The incentives will last \"till India's chances are alive in the World Cup\".
Modi also censured the attack on Dhoni's property by furious fans on Sunday.
Cricket fans, angry over the Indian team's loss on Saturday to minnows Bangladesh in the World Cup, had damaged the wicketkeeper-batsman's under-construction house in Ranchi.

Tendulkar: Also a king of ODI ducks

PORT OF SPAIN: Only tailender Javagal Srinath has more 'ducks' in one-day cricket than Sachin Tendulkar, who failed to open his account for the 18th time in one-day internationals, during the World Cup loss to Sri Lanka here.
When Tendulkar was bowled by Dilhara Fernando for a nought during India's disastrous chase of a Lankan total of 255, he equalled Anil Kumble's tally of 18 scoreless innings.
It will take just one more failure for Tendulkar to be at the top of the list with Srinath.
This was also Tendulkar's second duck in the 35 World Cup innings he has played. The last time the maestro failed to score in the mega event was in 1999 against Australia in the Super Six stage.
The little master fell to a 92 mph delivery from Fernando, which broke through his defence and left a deafening silence in the Indian dressing room.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
Come on Shankara,
Be fair....I fully agreed with the fact you have stated about Indraji, but its sad that you missed to complete it in perfect. Even Hanumanji is also responsible for India's world cup exit....u know how.....
Had he ruined and destroyed Lanka effectively ..... this would never happen to us...right... So now you need to try Hanumanji also for the grave mistake he has committed in the past.
Come on ......INDIA........... We will continue to cheer for u ....
