hi,my two sons and i had applied for citizenship.mine and my elder sons written test is over (oct.2006) but my younger son missed due to exam. 13 th april again he will be missing as he has his final exam. this is the third call he is missing. any idea what happens please let me know .thanks.

Did you inform CIC that your son would be missing the test? You could have informed them not to schedule your son's test in a given time period, when he would not be available. Apparently, you received the call letters and chose to ignore it or did not inform the CIC.

If your son misses the third call, CIC will close down his citizenship application and you will have to reapply.

If you miss the citizenship test, you get one more chance within 30 to 60 days. You need to inform CIC about missing the test and give a genuine reason for that.

Someone I know missed the test date and got another chance to write the test a month later.
