I am a Canadian Resident. Got a 10 Year B1 Visa through my current employer.
Now I am getting a new job offer from a US company. I will be employed by their Canadian office.
Can I use switch the employer and still travel on my old B1 Visa?
If not do I need to apply a new B1 Visa?
Thanks.

B1/B2 visa is not employer or visit specific. For example: If you got it because of employer A and now you are working for employer B, you can still use the same B1/B2 visa to visit the US for the business/pleasure purpose. No need to get a new visa (in fact you will not be able to get the new visa since u do not need one)
I do not have a personal experience - but I know a friend who has done it. If the visa is employer specific, it is endorsed on the visa (like you have the employer's name on the H1 visa stamp). B1/B2 is not employer specific and hence has no endorsement. You can be sure of that and you should travel to the US without any worry. Your travel should be ONLY for business trip/pleasure though.

Hi, My whole family has the B1/B2 Visa for 10 yrs. Once it's stamped on your passport ypu can use it till it expires...this is not employer specific at all. Don't worry for it...nothing will change if you want to travel US.
