Can I leave Canada for a Job in India,while my Citizenship application is in process?Any link or advice pls.
Sure you can. Just inform the CIC when do you plan to come back, so that they can send you letter for the test.

Why we have to inform CIC if we are away for 2 weeks after applying for Citizenship, as per CIC site.Any advice.

If you do not inform, you have nothing in your defense to say why you skipped the test unless you can return to Canada at a short notice for the test.
