Should we send passport to New Delhi??

Sponsor ship applied in canada jan 2005
My parents has submitted family class parent file at new delhi on june 6,2007

Medical test done in Dec 2007
Still waiting for request for visa stamp in Passport from New delhi.
Should we send passport?
In medical request letter embassy asked not to send passport till requested..

Is any one has same timeline???

Please respect the instructions provided by the Embassy, in their letter. They will have to do a thorough analysis of the Medical Report received before they will ask you for the Passports etc., Also, you do not know the cause of the delays and what it is that they are experiencing, there in Delhi.

So, please have some patience and wait for a response from another Desi in a similar situation, and obtain his time lines.

You are lucky you did get medical request after 6 months but there are so many others like me did not heard anything from embassy after subbmiting file at new delhi waiting for medical from 7months
Be patient you will get passport request soon

I am waiting for passport request,
But, I heard so many pepole/Agent send passport to embassy after one month of medical test .And they got visa faster on there passport

If any one can focus on it then I send passport to ND..

Thanks for your advice , My parent got instruction from ND to submitt passport.
Do any one has same timeline or Idea , How long Canadain Embassy take to stamp once passport submitted?

We need to book ticket immediately once get stamp/visa

The next 2 months (Jul & Aug) are vacation months, and getting a seat may be a challange. Why don't you block seats on 2 or 3 different dates.

Thanks for your advice , We are in process of booking but should we book end of june/ or july?

My parent got instruction from ND to submitt passport.

Do yopu have any Idea , How long Canadain Embassy take to stamp once passport submitted?
