Are there any Cellular Accesories / Services Kiosks in Malls in Toronto that are owned / operated by Private Individuals? How is the Wireless market in Canada? If anyone can provide some info, I'd really appreciate it.

You will get at least one (or may be two or more) Cell phone kiosks and or store in virtual every mall in GTA. The wireless network here is dominated by 3 players; Rogers AT&T, Bell Mobility & Telus Mobility. Up to some extent, you can find FIDO service as well.

All these companies do provide frenchising opportunities to qualifying individuals.

Hi,

Thank you for the useful information. I tried contacting all the CellPhone Companies for franchising oppurtunities and as expected, they all deal exclusively with "Master Dealers" i.e companies that sell in excess of 400 phones a month. I am running a similar business in the US and when we started out here, we had to become an Agent for a Master Dealer in order for us to sell Cellular Phones. I've tried searching online for Canadian Master Dealers but to no avail. Do you know of any way by which I can find Master Dealers for different cellular companies?

I don't recall off hand but I know there are some companies who have a number of locations with the same name and they could be one of the Master dealers. One such name is Pagetron Communications.
