My application was received by CIC towards the end of December, 07 and started working on it from March, 08. I got the booklet and the client number sometime in Feb'08. Can someone tell me how much is the wait time for filling from Mississauga, ON.

My application was received by CIC on Dec 4th and they started working on it on March 04th, 08.

July 4th file transferred to Scarborough office.

Citizenship test scheduled for July 26th.

When I checked the status recently it told me, We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 24, 2007.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called A Look at Canada on December 24, 2007. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on March 17, 2008.

Your file was transferred to the Mississauga CIC office on June 2, 2008. The Mississauga CIC office will contact you if additional information is required. The Mississauga CIC office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.

Does this mean anything that we are close to receiving the test date... and is this a normal procedure.

Can anyone guide me through to let me know what exactly happens on the test date, people have been saying all different things that there is an interview before going to test, there are interview after test... so what is the whole procedure once you enter the test center building.
