I went to the unforgettable show and what a show it was i loved the performances by all the stars specially Amitabh Bachchan ash looked a little fat though.
.Now let me tell you why I dished out 100 bucks It was because I couldnt get into the Guru Premiere right here in Toronto.The hype the news the media coverage was unreal and unbelievable at that time.Every news channel every front page for days on end.If you didnt go the premiere you thought you were a loser.
So when i heard they were coming again I thought i wasnt gonna miss this one.I entered the Rogers centre thinking it was gonna be full,but shock of my life in a 50,000 venue there were not even 15 percent people there.Empty seats everywhere the 500 level was closed which is 35 percent of anysetup.I have seen shows at Rogers centre 30,000 people for a south asian show is very easily done.
So I sit down on my seat talk to the guy sitting next to me guess what he paid 60 bucks,60 bucks for what I paid 100 for ,I was fuming.But nothing I could do.felt very cheated though.
Anyway I see the show and I say WHY ? by the way just wanted to know is this couldn't have been the same company who did Guru premiere ; what a difference.Reason a day after the premiere every front page every middle section every TV station was playing the premiere over and over again.guess what after the show I didnt read even a small news I waite and waited and it never came I guess they didnt wanna right negative and it wasnt newsworthy
I am sad that these promoters couldnt sell 10000 tickets to where 50000 people should have come and even more sad that I had to see my favourite stars peform in front of empty seats.

Its good that you enjoyed show
Even most of my friends told me same thing.
It was amazing
but my question is, you went to show for what reason?
To enjoy show or see how many more people are sitting in stadium or
how much other person paid?
Do not think too much?
Feel lucky that you able to enjoy show

I agree with you that this thread should be moved into the other Unforgettable thread.
But in response to your "you went to the show for what reason"?
Uuuhh.. correct me if i'm wrong, but I think having a house-full adds to the atmosphere and the excitment to any concert/sporting event. Imagine U2 getting greated by 500 fans in a stadium? LOL Also have you ever walked into a bar/club and only found 2 people in there? What is your first reaction? to LEAVE! correct?
I think the concert-goer has every right to vent/provide their fusturation with any aspect. Clearly everyone agrees the show was incredible, but the lackluster turnout and mismangement of ticket prices on the last day left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Especially if they paid $100 per ticket and the guy sitting beside him paid only $60.
But I think this topic has been beaten to death, I just think everyone should send an e-mail to the organizers and/or write their own blog.

Please...if I didn't go to the Rogers Centre to see Ash, no way in hell will I travel to another city to see an old bag. Trust me I used to love Madhuri. But geez, the comeback aspect of this bollywood glam world has been stretched beyond limits.
I think I would puke if I saw Madhuri do a Choli Ke Peeche...because I can only guess the...oh well, you know what I mean.
