This thread is trying to solve and criticize something without imput form the subjects. The subjects are those people working in Dubai. I saw a few Indians here at work calling there boss Mam/Sir. I am sure it is hard for some of them to change right away from being raised ina british system where they start an application with "I beg to say". Anyway, I have no objection to various cultures and am happy that the people writing in this thread do not have the power to stop all this otherwaise they may take away what they can make in Dubai and let those laborers and their families dies of hunger. I have one question:
Why the hell this exodus continues and they keep going back to Dubai?
There are many thousand repeated offenders 0or whatever you call it. People feel proud to be working Dubai and they keep going back to Dubai to make money for their family. Overtime is practiced in USA< Canada and other countries by our people. Do you know 24 hours stores are mainly run by Indian in North America becuase our people love money will accept to be slave for it. Look at Toronot, many people live in one apartment 2-3 people per room and work 10-12 hours a day in factories even there is social help and will work on cash.
I also get another feeling form this thread, most of us love socialism but oppose it back home.
You call it slavery, they call it hard work to support their family. You call it slavery but the man feel proud to build a brick house back home, buy jewelry for wife and a motor cycle for their teen age kid and pay for their daughter marriage. Come on everyone lets be realistic and go down to small town this time when back in India. I myself grew up with such so called slaves being around who made us look at them with as an example. Lets get real and if so much worried for them attempt to creat some jobs for them back home to just support the above few things. Is it that hard? chatting is easy and free action is hard and seeing it from their perspective is impossible.
Still have doubts, go and chat with them at their level.
All the best.
