I was reading the thread about RESP.As sumone has suggested that there r more ways to earn better returns....can u plz suggest some good monthly investment plans.The idea is to save for kids education.

In RESP you get upto 40% (that's what government pays per month depending upon income. But 20 % is gauranteed) and the growth is taxed at the hands of beneficiary, usually you child.
With these benefits why would someone look for alternative.
Let's if someone can shed some light on this
