Well, he has received the letter from CIC so how does your comment help / matter?
We went for our citizenship test today. A couple had brought their two daughters around 2-3 years old and NO ONE objected. At a point they were a bit loud and again NO ONE asked for pin drop silence.
I think there is a huge difference in the attitude of staff at Etobicoke / Mississauga / other centres in GTA.

Also it is very unlikely that your infant is allowed for the test as the test requires pin drop silence and even you need concentration to write the test.
Your best alternative would be to hire a nanny for one or 2 hours to come to the site and look after your infant (even if the nanny askes $100 an hour).
Again infants are allowed and encouraged in the oath process but the moment the child / infant cries / makes a scene during the Oath process, you will be asked to take the infant out and YOU CANOT ENTER IN AGAIN (atleast in Etobicoke) b'cos the door canot be opened from the outside.
So better have a nanny this time too or find a daycare for one day (Some people in CD classified oblige at a premium fee)
Hope this helps.
Peace
Hellllooo my CD Brethren !!!
It has finally happened. I am a Canadian citizen now.
The best part was that the citizenship test and the oath ceremony happened the same day. More than likely because of the upcoming federal elections. In any case, God bless democracy.
I want to thank the CD community for being there when I needed help or had queries.
If anybody has any questions for me, please feel free to ask.

They did not allow our baby into the test, but they did for the oath. There were other people who brought their babies into the Oath ceremony.
Thanks for your earlier responses.
After long time waiting, i got letter for appearing for the oath. I got similar letter for my 5 years old child. I have plan to apply for passport at passport office on same day.
1) Is it necesary to have physical presence of child (who is going to be citizen) at the time of oath?
2) Oath letter asked to bring 2 ID [1 must be photo ID] + Passport + PR + landing paper. What could be photo ID for child other than passport and PR?
3) Is it okay if I'll go alone to passport office and apply for my wife and children passport? [ I'll bring all ID of my wife and children]
Thanks

1) No. Your child does not have to be present but you must take him / her along - it is a once in a lifetime celebration. Take some photos with the judge to remember those moments years from now.
2) Health card. But in our case nothing was checked though we did carry all those.
3) Yes. You can submit the application for your family.
