Applied for canadian citizenship, but want to play soccer in india

Now this came up, that you have to have indian passport.. i came here when i was 14 and am 17 right now, will be going back at 19 after studies, but im just kind of curious, cause im not a complete foreigner, i still know the national anthem and other stuff
...and if i apply for the OCI card.i still cant tryout for the u-20 national teams? cause if i go back, its going to be kinda hard to let go off the canadian citizenship because of so much sacrifice made to get here. Alsoin ur opinion will the stupid/fat/old politicians change this stupid rule that u have to have indian passport to play? cause lets face it, in sports beside cricket , india will suck for the next 50+years. And also 1 last question, if i drop canadian citizenship, in india..will i be able to reapply for it later? thanks!

If you think you will make the grade in Indian Foot Ball (Soccer) and need an Indian Citizenship to qualify, then so be it. Keep your PR card active by residing here 730 days out of the five years. Get your Citizenship whenever you want to, by staying here for 1095 days out of four years later.
You have not lost anything. Your sacrifice will still be counted in your favour, if you return back after a short break.
Coaching by top active winners is the first factor and India has not come up with such encouragement nor with a budget to accommodate the fees called for to get such services. Until such time, you will see Nth grade participants, as India's top class sports persons. They might bring races for people who wear Lungis, Dhotis and Saries too, before India will win in any sports or bring in a new handicap race.
I do see and know that there is great talent in India, that goes unnoticed. There is no encouragement provided to any talent other than to a few brainy ones in Chess or Bridge.

Why would you want to go to Indian to play soccer. Arnt there clubs here in Canada to play for?
