Student would like to go with English, world religion, envoirnmental science, anthropology, psychology, sociology, math functions, dance, travel and tourism.
Some of the career options associated with the above subjects can be easily guessed.
However, with the service economy withering and the North American job markets shrinking, jobs in the service sector may no longer be attractive by the time this student becomes a graduate.
On the contrary, science subjects ( this student does not want to pursue) can lead to: engg., architecture, agriculture, energy and construction jobs that could offer security and great opportunities in N.America for many years to come.

See you can tell that I am not an expert in this.
Thanks for your feedback. I will look forward to your links etc. Please offer some suggestions that will lead to University education.
As far as contruction jobs are concerned, soon you will see large scale migration of laid off housing contruction employees into the infrastructure projects (soon to be annouced).

Very helpful information and great resources.
Students can even take "Know Yourself Quiz" to find where their interest/ passion lies. http://www.jobfutures.ca/en/home.shtml
Thanks very much!
