Well I think you have a very good point there!!!! We should ban western dresses in India … after all we have our culture to protect …. I would go a step further and recommend the following actions for us to reclaim our culture
1)Revamp the army uniform ….. We don’t need “our guys” to look like the western soldiers …. So no battle fatigues for them … if Lord Rama could “conquer” Lanka and defeat evil then we as ordinary mortals can surely defend ourselves wearing the “dhoti” or the “lungi’”. This would be a bold statement to reclaim my culture.
2)Revamp the weaponry ….. We have been wasting billions of dollars on weapons when all the secrets are “locked” in our own books. Why do we need all the fighter jets and the ICBM’s? We can develop those “Brhamastra’s” ….. Which were the “nuclear” weapons used by our ancestor’s …..I am sure Ramanand Sagar can be hired as a consultant by DRDO for these developments …. He has used them before. Time to put our cultural knowledge to good use.
3)Health care: Now this is one area where we have expertise which the western world has yet to achieve. So we must stop the “western” education in medical field and have our own local Vaid’s , it is unfortunate that in India we have our ex PM Vajpayee falling a victim to the “western” medicine and he has been put on a “ventilator” ….. He should have had a swig of the latest RSS “cow urine” Cola and he will be good to go!!!! And what a statement would that make for our “culture”
It is time to reclaim our “culture” and get rid of these “western” copycats!!!!!! I was planning to ditch my car for a “Ratham” …. But it seems there are no “winter tires” available for a “Ratham” … so will have to live in this “western” world and use one of their tools !!!!!!

lol... Maybe you can get a cpl of the Ram Sena guys to pull it for you....i'm sure they would be willing to promote the culture. 'Vanar sena' (apologies to the original) sounds apt. Heck maybe we could start a new transcontinental bridge, made of rocks, from Canada to India with their help.
