Does anyone have experience dealing in applying for the OCI duplicates(for loss of visa and registration cards)? If so, can you please share.

Call Consulate General. Sometime they pick the phone in Toronto. I called CG at Ottawa and they answered some of my questions regarding OCI.
I am trying from last 2 hours but seems they are tooo busy. Phone engaged or sometimes they pickup and just disconnect.
guess will have to keep trying.
Did you lose both passport and the OCI card and have no copies? I think that has not been covered on their website.

I see that they have the steps on how to reapply but was not sure if that can be done in person like its done for initial application of OCI?
I am scared sending/recieving all the originals by mail.
They ask for police report whereas police here says that report wont be given but they can fax it directly to the consulate.
