Somewhere, I read the word "CERTIFICATION", and immediatley I thought of writting in a post. As I am new and have raised only couple of new posts so far. Hence I looked for the correct section and putting here my concern or query.. Please help..

I have done my diploma in mechanical Engineering, believe it has never been a hurdle to me in my working life in INDIA. I have now 13 years of work experience including 6/7 yrs of managerial. The experience has been mainly IT, Power conditioning / FInancial services mainly INSURANCE. I have some time to reach canada but before that I wish to gater knowledge on how the academic profile of mine is gonna be considered? What kind of additional certifications are helpfull for a case like me to get jobs in own field? Is there any website giving knowledge of such certification courses?
