I am in canada and have a humanitarian and compassionate grounds claim submitted five years ago after the rejection of my refugee claim. I was called by CIC last december to update my information. I have not heard anything since. I recentlly got married and my spouse is a permanenet resident.

Can someone pl guide me as I want to know if I should update my info with CIC that I am married now and it will expedite my H&C claim or I should forget about it and file for spousal sponsorship? Which of these will be quicker?
