Most often you would get that dreaded call to meet the judge for two reasons:

1. You have failed the test.
2. They have sufficient reasons to doubt that you have not fulfilled your residency obligation.

If you have failed the test, the judge would go through your answer sheet and would ask you the questions that you might have gotten wrong, thus giving you another chance to prove that you do have the required knowledge to pass the citizenship test.

If they doubt that you haven't fulfilled the residency obligation, they will ask you to prove your residency in Canada as per what you have penned in your application. This can be in terms of tax returns, bank statements, rent receipts, cell phone or other utility bills. Remember, the onus is on you to prove that you have stayed in Canada for the required number of days.

If the judge thinks you are not eligible for Canadian citizenship, he will throw the application out and ask you to apply again when you become eligible as per the requirements.

If the judge has sufficient grounds to suspect that you have lied on the application, he/she will ask you to withdraw the application voluntarily with a written apology or face charges.

Hello

If you are asked for filling an RQ to what extent do we need to submit the proofs. Is it requires to show a bank statement/credit card statement/utility bill for each of the month in the 4 years that we have been here or fewer bills would do?
