hello, i came to canada when i was 15 an di have a PR card now i have lived here 4 years. i have a couple of questions:
1) if my mother applies for citizenship, will i automatically get it since i was under 18 at that time?
2) Is it possible for me to hold an indian passport while having a PR card and NOT apply for citizenship since i dont want to be a canadian citizen..but STILL keep the PR card?
my aunt told me that if i have PR card but i dont go for citizenship, i can still hold the canadian PR card if i travel to india but i have to visit canada atleast once in 5 years to renew PR card
the reason i dont want to be a citizen but hold PR card with indian citizenship/passport is that i want to go to india after my university and try for provincial sport over there, but due to new rules ONLY ppl with indian passports can play on an indian team, but i still want to be able to live/travel to canada because of my family here

You can be a PR forever if you choose to be so.
As long as you can continue to meet the residency requirements.

You need to continue meeting the residency requirements.

Read through the /entire/ page to understand all the requirements correctly.
If you do not mee the residency requirement, you cannot renew PR Card.
Also, in order to renew PR Card, you need to be physically present in Canada - your friends/relatives cannot pick up PR Card on your behalf.

i have about 2 or 3 years more here so my total years will be about 6 or 7, in the link it said that if a persn has lived here for 5 or more years he/she has to return here and live for minimum of 730 days to hold PR card? am i correct?
so if i ever go to india when im done my studies, and i leave for 3 or 4 years, i will have to come back and stay for 730 days? i cant just return and get the stamp at the airport and then go back to india again?

heres my plan:
i already have PR card
want to go to india in 2 or 3 years
STILL want to hold PR card
but hold indian citizenship
return here to meet friends and family and renew pr card, then leave for india again, so basically just hold PR card forever and be INDIAN citizen.

PR Card is permanent resident card.
If you are not a permanent resident as per CIC's definition, then you cannot hold PR Card forever.
The only way to do what you are trying to is to become a Canadian citizen and then you can stay out for as long as you like.
But then you won't be an Indian citizen anymore.
So basically, you need to choose....

You have to be physically present in Canada to meet the residency requirements to be able to renew your PR Card.
As well, you need to pick-up your card in person, no one else can pick up on your behalf.
